For everything from backpacking to car camping, the Ikos TR3 is an adventure workhorse. Featuring Sea to Summit’s advanced Tension-Ridge technology, it offers impressive headspace so that you can truly feel at home out in the wilderness.

Throw it up in a flash after a long day of hiking with machined-aluminium pole feet/rainfly C-clips for a quick pitch every time. Taking it down has never been easier, with Quick Connect Foot technology which allows the fly to be removed after the inner in wet weather.

Stay protected whatever the weather throws at you with a ripstop rainfly treated with a non-PFC DWR, and 4,000mm hydrostatic head flooring. Advanced venting with Tension-Ridge technology helps to reduce condensation when the temperature rises, whilst Baseline Vents control airflow even in rainy conditions.

An all-rounder 3-season tent, the Ikos TR3 is made for adventure buddies who are ready to take on the wild together.

Features

  • Sea To Summit’s unique Tension Ridge maximises the livable space versus the footprint of their tents, offering a lot more room around the head and shoulders.
  • Tension Ridge allows a wide vent at the highest point of the tent, helping minimise condensation build-up. Unlike most vent designs, the Apex Vent doesn’t require a mesh panel to maintain tension across the fly—allowing up to 70% better airflow, unrestricted by mesh.
  • Control airflow to manage humidity and condensation in wet conditions by opening or closing the Baseline Vents. Face one of the Baseline Vents into the wind for the most effective airflow.
  • Multiple configuration options means Sea To Summit tents adapt to the weather or your activity. Enjoy Fly Only Mode, Inner Only Mode, Dry Set-Up, Partial Fly Mode, Classic Mode.
  • Sea To Summit’s unique Quick Connect Foot means in wet weather you can set the fly up first and take it down last to keep your inner dry.
  • The inner mesh panels are engineered for maximum airflow while maintaining no-see-um and sandfly insect protection.

Sea To Summit

Sea to Summit invent gear that enables freedom and self-reliance in an environment.

They take their adventure and gear seriously, but Aussie humour lightens any journey. Approaching life with directness, candour and integrity, doing what they know is right to build products and relationships that last.

As a young outdoor enthusiast, Roland Tyson (founder of Sea To Summit) had a passion and a talent for creating cutting-edge outdoor equipment for his own adventurers, and soon for other Australian adventurers. By 1991, after outfitting an unusual first ascent of Mt. Everest (a 1126+ kilometre, 8848 metres in elevation trek from sea level to a solo summit), Sea to Summit was born.

Sea to Summit are surfers, hikers, bikers, paddlers, sailors—lovers of outdoor spaces and are inspired by the freedom those spaces provide. Stewardship of the natural environment is as important to them as the creation of new products, and they purposefully make gear that lasts and can be easily repaired.

Sea to Summit invent gear that enables freedom and self-reliance in any environment—and believe it is imperative that same environment be around for future generations of adventurers to enjoy. The meaningful steps they are making towards improving their environmental and social impact, and the commitment to being transparent about their progress is the only way to guarantee they do their part in making that happen.

In 2022, Sea to Summit successfully transitioned from an owner-modelled business to a solid private equity backed business. The certified B-Corporation and Australian investment firm, Five V Capital, signed an agreement with Sea to Summit to become the majority shareholder. This marks an important milestone in Sea to Summit’s history as the brand becomes a global player in the outdoor industry, continuing to grow and expand.
